Hair Cuts

You know that thing of when you are going to get a haircut and you’re thinking of something new for yourself but you aren’t sure what you want, so you go on Pinterest or Google and search for trending haircuts?  It is so fun to look and see what celebrity’s are doing with their hair, and you definitely want to find a cute example of what you want. I personally find the Lob (long bob) to be precious…

However, after speaking with Erica Morgan, a Master Stylist at r salon, I learned something new about haircuts. I asked Erica what her favorite haircut of the moment was and she said that trending haircuts do not inspire her. When I asked her why she said that our haircuts aren’t necessarily about what is in style at the moment, they should be about what will look best on each individual. Your Haircut should be about your Head shape, Face shape, and the time that each individual is willing to spend styling their hair. This makes alot of sense to me. Clothes don’t come in a one size fits all, why should we expect a haircut to? I think that the best idea is to come in to the salon for a consultation. It is free and our stylists love to talk about what might be best for each individual client!
